Texas Cyber Summit provides Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits for those who are certified and are required to keep up their certifications via CPE. This year we hosted 125 Speakers (Briefings) and over 30 Labs (2-4hr) which qualifies from standard training credits for the below allocation, Earn upto 8 CPE/CEU credits per conference day depending on the program you are applying the training to.
- 8 CPE/CEU credits for one day of Briefings and Trainings *
- 32 CPE credits for Three Day of Briefings and Trainings *
You may request CPE credits by providing your certificate number at registration or via email after the event, where we can review briefings and trainings you attended.
Texas Cyber Summit may be able to forward your earned CPE credits upon completion of Training and/or Briefings, thirty days after the event has ended. CPE is a globally recognized standard unit of measure for continuing education for security professionals.
Please see each certified Continuing Education program requirements for more information regarding the CPE process, and maintaining your certification. Please note Texas Cyber Summit does not maintain records of earned CPE credits. It is the responsibility of the student to maintain his or her own records.
ISACA : Non-ISACA Professional Education Activities and Meetings
These activities include in-house corporate training, university courses, conferences, seminars, workshops, and professional meetings and related activities not sponsored by ISACA. In addition, CPE hours can be earned from certification review courses if such courses advance the certification’s domain knowledge or skills. ISC2: Certified (ISC)2
members are required to earn and submit Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits during their three-year certification cycle. The total number of CPE credits earned within a three-year cycle must add up to the minimum CPE credits required during a three-year certification cycle. (ISC)2 has a suggested annual minimum to help balance maintaining your certification. CPE Handbook here: ISC2
